At first, she hesitated. “I thought the whole idea sounded fun, but also maybe a bit too ‘silly’ for me,” she said. But after mentioning it to her husband, his excitement pushed her to take the leap. Looking back, the Pin-Up Minis were a perfect introduction. With its playful vintage theme, Katherine could embrace a character while easing into the experience. She walked into the studio a little nervous but ready to trust the process.

“The transformation was an experience in itself,” Katherine said. “I hadn’t had my hair or makeup done since my wedding 18 years ago!” From my side, it was exciting to watch Katherine evolve during the session. The vintage curls, red lips, and themed outfits gave her the confidence to embody her character. Our team hyped her up even before she stepped in front of the camera! From hair, makeup, and styling, each client is totally taken care of so that all you have to do is show up. By the end, she was nailing even the most challenging poses with grace and confidence, and it was a joy to capture that on camera. One standout moment for her was a shot in front of our iconic circle window at the Mesa studio location.
