Pretties and Their Pitties 2015 calendars on sale now!

July 14, 2014

Le Boudoir Studio is the official photographer for the “Pitties and Their Pretties” calendar! Jodi Lynn is a dog lover so this charity project was right up her alley! The concept of the calendar was created by the “Pit Bull Awareness Campaign of Arizona.” The group is modeled after “The National Pit Bull Awareness campaign;” a nationwide effort to bring positive awareness and attention to the American Pit Bull Terrier and their responsible owners. The local group is made up of members of the Arizona community that seek to educate, advocate and spread awareness about dogs commonly referred to as pit bulls. Through community events, campaigns and get-togethers they spread the word and hope to change the negative perception that many people have about these wonderful animals.

Pit Bull Awareness pin-up calendar on sale now!

The purpose of the calendar project is to:
(1) Promote pit bulls in a positive light;
(2) Help local pit bull advocacy groups and rescues raise some much needed funds to save more dogs
(3) Showcase some local rescue dogs in the “Pitties and Their Pretties” calendar in hopes of finding them forever homes!

The two beneficiaries of this project are Standing Proud Pit Bull Rescue and AZK9.

AZK9 is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Their mission is to promote the human-animal bond and keep people with their pets through outreach, education, and services. They work to assist pet owners before their animal ever has to enter a shelter.

Standing Proud Pit Bull Rescue Center is a rescue that currently operates off of a foster network but is raising funds to become Arizona’s first Pit Bull Rescue Facility modeled after Villa Lobos Rescue Center in New Orleans, LA. They primarily focus on the rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and education of the Pit Bull and Pit Bull mixes; although they will never turn down an animal in need. They are awaiting their 501(c)(3).
