Le Boudoir Studio has been my pride and joy for the past year and a half, and it has been an incredible journey of personal growth. As a full-time boudoir photographer, I’ve not only been able to pursue my passion but also experience life-changing moments. It was through my own boudoir shoots that I discovered the power of this empowering experience. And now, every day I wake up with gratitude knowing that I have the chance to give this transformative experience to others – to uplift women of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds who may be struggling with their own insecurities.

Things I’ve realized since becoming a boudoir photographer: 

• Acknowledging your own beauty allows others to acknowledge theirs. By being so authentically yourself, you allow others the grace to be themselves as well. 
• When you shift your perspective, you shift your experience. My job allows me to see others in a way that they don’t see themselves. I’m able to step outside of my own insecurities and realize that is not the reality that others perceive of me. This takes a huge weight off my shoulders and allows me to relay my testimony to my clients.
• Take the picture. Wear the outfit. Eat the food. Do the things that make you happy. Life goes by so fast. You are meant to enjoy it!
• There is no shame in wanting to feel good about yourself. There is no shame in looking in the mirror and liking what you see. And there is no shame in spreading that joy with others. You never know who you might inspire to do the same.
• When you start going after what you truly want and pursuing the things that bring you joy, you will find your tribe and realize that the possibilities are endless. You will find people that genuinely support you. Opportunities will come. You just need to be true to yourself! All of that lies just on the other side of your comfort zone.
• No one (including you!) is going to look back at photos and criticize your weight/slightly crooked teeth/wrinkles..all those things you may be insecure about. You are going to be glad you just have the photos to look back on in the first place. Your loved ones will appreciate it even more when you’re gone. 
• I know it’s a cliche saying but we really are our own worst critic. Every single one of us! The ones that look like models..the actual models…We all have something we are insecure about!
• I mean this in the best way possible, but no one cares as much as you think they do. The thing you are feeling insecure about and are making a big deal about in your head? Most people probably don’t even notice. We are all too busy worrying about our own things.
