Bokeh Magazine highlights Le Boudoir Studio

In the August 2014 Bokeh Magazine issue; Jodi Lynn, owner and boudoir photographer of Le Boudoir Studio was able to sit down with Bokeh Magazine and answer all their burning boudoir photography questions! Here’s some highlights from the interview:

How Did You Start “Le Boudoir Studio & Photography?”

“I specialize in boudoir photography and wanted that fact to stand out right in the name. My original name was “Boudoir by Jodi Lynn.” But because the business was growing and I didn’t want to be seen as an individual but as a company, I changed the name to “Le Boudoir Studio.” And French always sounds sexy.”               

What is your main industry for Le Boudoir Studio & Photography?

“My main goal/industry with boudoir photography and the company name is for every woman to leave the studio and say she felt amazing. I want her experience to be memorable and exciting. There was a moment a client told me, “You made me feel so beautiful,” and I was hooked, and immediately realized that this was the line of work I am truly passionate about.”

What do you do to keep yourself inspired?

“What keeps me inspired and motivated is doing a self-project every few months that does not include a client. Something I choose that gets me excited to photograph. Then I go all out with the details (clothing, accessories etc.) This has and continues to provide marketing and business ideas, such as my recent outdoor Prescott session. I can then blog about it and book clients that are interested in the new idea.”
