Sighhhhh….what a great quote and so true for all of the mommies out there. With Mother’s Day fast approaching we thought it was necessary to shine light and give credit where credit is due. Most of the moms we know out there are scurrying around and won’t even take the time to read this all the way through. So, you….yeah…you, we see you beautiful! Please just take the moment to sit with us for a minute and accept the gratitude that you oh so deserve. 😉

Being a mother is one of the most amazing journeys you could allow yourself to be taken on. You are your child’s hero no doubt and although you may not believe it every second; they don’t know what they would do without you. Between the running around, cooking, cleaning, reading, nurturing, loving, hugging, working…and the list goes on and on, you hardly take a minute to breathe; let alone sit down and relax. We here at Le Boudoir Studio want you to take a moment to give yourself permission to relax and accept all the love that surrounds you. A lot of women who have had a child or children sometimes feel as though they are no longer sexy or that they don’t deserve to take a moment for themselves. We disagree…HIGHLY disagree in fact. What good are you going to be to all of the things you commit yourself to if you are a frazzled, sleep deprived, way over due for a mani/pedi or haircut kind of a mom? No good! Honey, you’ve got to take care of you and remember at the true essence of yourself is a gorgeous and strong woman.

We think mommies are extra special and deserve more than one single day a year and that’s why businesses like us are able to exist. We love women! We especially love making women look, but most importantly FEEL beautiful and we think we’re pretty darn good at that…wouldn’t you agree?

So go ahead you sweet, sexy thang and put your feet up and enjoy your moments and perhaps some gifts this Mother’s Day.
