Self-love is a process, one that will always be a “learn as you go” experience.

In the world today, all women whether they’ll admit it or not have a self-proclaimed flaw that they worry about daily. I know I am not the only one still going to the bathroom to make sure you can’t see the  baby zit forming on my chin on the millionth date with my man. Even though, he has seen me with my greasy hair, no make-up, and eating a tub of ice cream in my sweats. I still feel like I need to conform to society’s idea that in public, I need to look like I have no flaws.

HOW LE BOUDOIR STUDIO PROMOTES WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Each woman has a story about her body, and regardless we all need to feel good about who we are. Carrie started coming to our Arizona photography studio in 2015. She felt she was in the best shape but was still self-conscious at that time. During her first session she was very nervous, but the way we welcome her at Le Boudoir Studio made her feel special like the day was all about her, because it was. Carrie began to feel the connection during hair and makeup. The stylist made her felt at ease by getting to know her and pampering her. As soon as hair and make up was done she felt like a rock-star, then Jodi Lynn came into the room and walked her though outfit changes, sets, and options that she had, that really helped Carrie feel at ease. Once we started the session, I felt like Jodi Lynn could be my best friend, she complimented and directed me through each of the poses and showed me images through out the session which made my confidence grow.

 Carrie’s experience with us has led to such a strong self-confidence that her shoots with us are now just a simple reminder of how beautiful she is.
