Welcome to Le Boudoir Studio’s blog! We are excited to announce that Jodi Lynn is expecting her baby soon — March 8th, to be exact! She and her husband are busy getting ready to welcome their baby girl, and their daughter is bouncing with excitement to have a little sister.

During the last several months, Jodi Lynn has been busy with all the preparations that must be done along the way when you’re expecting. She has been reacquainted with all of the world-changing effects of bringing a new life into the world. From preparing the baby room to satisfying her cravings — apple fritters and anything pickled — there is a lot to take in and do before she and her family get to meet their little one.

Additionally, she and her husband have decided to use the expertise of a midwife for a VBAC delivery — vaginal birth after cesarean. Jodi Lynn is excited to experience giving birth to her daughter naturally, and to have the expertise of a midwife by her side during the birthing process: a midwife’s professional expertise can be a true asset before, during, and after the birth.

With a March 8th due date quickly approaching, the energy around our Scottsdale studio is one full of excitement and support for Jodi Lynn and her family in welcoming the newest member to their family. With this in mind, there is some business around the studio to be aware of:

A Few Things to Know While Jodi Lynn is Away

With the arrival of Jodi Lynn’s baby girl, there are some things you should know about business around our photography and boudoir studio in Scottsdale.

No bookings will be available till late April 2019

We understand this is an inconvenience and that a lot sessions have had to be canceled as a result — we apologize for that and hate that we can’t provide you the unique photography experience of our Le Boudoir Studio.

However, we do want to offer you options to get beautiful photography while Jodi Lynn is away having her baby.

We absolutely love helping brides put together that extra special gift for their soon-to-be husbands, and of course themselves. Not to toot our own horn, but were pretty good at it and have put together a list of some key elements that will help you build your perfect bridal boudoir session!

LOTS OF LINGERIE

Aside from utilizing our stellar Hair and makeup artists, the single most important aspect of a bridal boudoir session is the choice of lingerie. You can never have too much, so don’t be afraid to bring more than you need to your session. We love full bridal on our Princess and Exclusive sets. The white on white is a classically beautiful way to express yourself. Paired with high-heels and thigh highs, you’ll look every bit the part of a blushing bride. Head to Pinterest or Instagram for some ideas on how to style your bridal shoot. We love this handy guide on choosing beautiful bridal lingerie. If the full bridal look isn’t for you, or too on-the-nose for your tastes, never fear. Many colors and patterns look great on our various sets, and flirty accessories like adding a bridal veil or sexy garter can add a little bit of bridal flare, even if it is the only thing you wear!

PERSONAL TOUCHES ADD FLAVOR TO YOUR SHOOT

Soon-to-be Mrs. T had so many ideas for her gorgeous bridal shoot! From sentimental, personally gifted jewelry, to her custom, cathedral length veil, it was easy to see T’s personality within her shoot. For her photos on our classy Exclusive set, she paired her sexy, cozy sweater with a cute pair of bridal sneakers she had fallen in love with. “They were too cute to pass up,” she told us with a smile. We love when the gals that come through the studio give creative input on the style and feel of their sessions. She even went all out with expression and posing, letting us know which expressions she can do best and even prompting a sultrier pout for some photos on our moody noir set she knew she’d love.
