RAE’NA HERNANDEZ – Hi, My name is Rae’na Hernandez. I am 26 years old and I have been married to my best friend of over five years now. He is truly an amazing man and provider for our family. We have a handsome 5 year old son who just started kindergarten this year. I am a full time Student and Mother and I work part time at a store my grandparents own. Sounds like the normal everyday life, right? Well, unfortunately our life was completely turned upside down when our Daughter Mea was still born at 39 weeks. A tragedy that no parent or person for that matter should ever have to endure. The struggle has not been easy on our family, I have fought a battle inside myself almost daily. Mea was lost due to a blood disorder that I have, that I knew nothing about during my pregnancy. If it wasn’t for Mia, things at some point could have ended tragically for me. Mea, is my Guardian Angel, she was sent from Heaven to tell me that things weren’t right, she saved my life. Over the last three years, I have dedicated myself to helping others with anything I can, I have been able to overcome such horrific hardships and I want to be able to do the same thing for others in my situation. I have also recently turned to fitness to clear my mind, better my health for the future of my family, and to help with my self-esteem. I would love nothing more than to surprise my husband with a photo shoot from Jodi Lynn, to show him how much he means to me for being by my side through the happiness and sadness that we have endured. This photo shoot will help me tell my story and to show myself and others than you can find beauty in most any situation. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story!
