It’s no secret that Le Boudoir Studio/Photography by Jodi Lynn loves maternity photography, couples maternity photography and newborn photo shoots! People say that women have a special glow when they are preggers and we love to catch that on camera. We also love when a couple comes to us with an idea or inspiration for the theme of their special photo shoot. It’s so fun for Jodi and the client(s) to collaborate to create the masterpiece they both hope to achieve.

Outdoor couples maternity session that looks like a dream

This is exactly what happened for Chrissy and Brent’s outdoor maternity session. The awesome couple had the idea of a 60’s theme and from the hair to the makeup…it turned out fantastic! Something that was very apparent to Jodi was that Chrissy has an absolutely nurturing, sweet and happy personality…the perfect combination for the mommy to be!

Brent and Chrissy are over the top excited to be parents to their little baby girl that they plan to name Charlotte 🙂 The baby clothes that were used as props were actually Chrissy’s from when she was a baby – super adorable!!! Also, the baby blanket that was used was Chrissy’s mom’s – what a fun way to incorporate grandma!

As we mentioned, we love maternity shoots including newborn shoots! In fact, Brent and Chrissy have already booked their newborn shoot with us! THANKS GUYS- we can’t wait! 🙂 Please keep in mind when scheduling a newborn shoot, we like to schedule the newborn shoot for 1-7 days after baby is born…this is the ideal period of time to be able to photograph the baby in the most fragile and sweet state. Of course sometimes babies decide to make their debut early or late so we are as flexible as possible when it comes to scheduling around birth.

We’re so excited for Charlotte to make her debut into the world and can not wait to photograph her. We are sure Brent and Charlotte will be lovely parents due to their sweet demeanor! In fact, when Chrissy came to the studio to review her photos and hubby Brent was unable to make it due to work; she was more than delighted to see the photos but sad that hubby was not there to experience the initial reactions to the photos. Chrissy even got a tab bit emotional since she said she wasn’t feeling that pretty as a mama to be and these photos made her feel beautiful….aww!!! That is the best compliment Jodi could ever receive!
