Le Boudoir Studio in Nelson Nevada

November 16, 2011

We took a trip to the ghost town of Nelson Nevada located 50 miles south of Las Vegas. This was one of the first major gold strike areas in Nevada. Nevada is dotted with many ghost towns, but where else can you find a ghost MINE? The buildings were even used for the film “3,000 Miles to Graceland.”
Today, Nelson is all but a ghost town with a population of about twenty people. With no open businesses, the town marks its past with weathered sheds, small shacks with corrugated metal siding, and rusting machinery parts, making it a perfect place for Las Vegas Senior photo shoots.
You definitely want to put Nelson, Nevada on your bucket list

Can I tell you how much I love these? The natural light, the coloring, the setting. Pure awesomeness. If you ever need a second shooter, call me immediately! 🙂
